The Family Altar
Daily worship for fathers who lead their households.
I made The Family Altar because I love the church of Jesus Christ, and it grieves me to see her so sick. I want to see households reformed and restored, and fathers taking up again the place God gave them at the head of their homes. The church is made of households, and a household is shaped at its table, where a father opens the Word, teaches his children the catechism, and leads them in prayer. This is my part in that work, one table at a time, beginning with my own.
